Meet The Kawan is a collective of illustrators, designers, and mess makers founded by Gee Fan Eng, Yunroo and Yuwen Ong. "Kawan" is a Malay word that translates to "Friends" in English. Some synonyms for "Friends" include companion, comrade, escort, fella, fellow, mate, and pal.
Drawing inspiration from our unique appearances and the humble pencil, I was tasked with creating a playful and vibrant logo to represent Meet The Kawan's brand identity. Through my design, I aimed to capture the essence of the collective's creative spirit and showcase their passion for bringing joy and fun to their work.
